A central island clad in 'Rosso Levanto' marble takes centre stage in this contemporary open-plan family kitchen in a Notting Hill townhouse designed by Totem Studio architects.
Crisp flat fronted cabinets painted in Little Green's 'Shirting' keep the lines clean for a streamlined look. Tall wall cabinets extend to just below the ceiling's cornice line providing plenty of storage while retaining the elegant lines and respecting the period features of the room.
'Rosso Levanto' marble was chosen to clad the central island and extends at one end to create an overhang for bar stool seating. Its leathered finish brings out the rich colour tones of the stone and gives a sophisticated matt appearance.
Tall cabinets with bespoke handles designed by Ize, accommodate the Gaggenau ovens and Fridge freezer. They also include a handy breakfast preparation space with a microwave, toaster and storage above, lined in oak with pocket doors which slide neatly out the way when in use.
