A Belgian minimalist style kitchen with cabinetry in grey stained oak and accents in travertine adding interest and a touch of drama, sits centrally within the ground floor living space designed by Keates Interiors.
The large kitchen island with its practical ceramic worktop offers plenty of preparation space around the main sink and cooking area for a keen cook. Smart tall cabinets with recessed bronze grips and open display shelving above, extend to the ceiling and house the refrigerator and cooking appliances neatly hidden behind integrated and pocket doors.
A pair of pocket doors in the tall cabinets hide an impressive suite of Gaggenau ovens when not in use.
A travertine niche with subtle lighting provides an additional worktop area and coffee point.
"Hetherington Newman are our first choice for cabinet makers. They are versatile and provide an excellent service combined with high quality workmanship. We use them because we can trust them to achieve the high level of product our clients expect. "
Lisa Keates, Keates Interiors Ltd
A practical hard-wearing ceramic worktop was chosen to blend seemlessly with the minimalist handle-free stained oak cabinet fronts with their brushed bronze grip rail.
The separate boot room and laundry room follow the simple understated style of the scheme. Tall flat panelled sand-blasted oak cabinets with neat vertical handles provide closed storage for boots and coats; while in the laundry room painted tounge and groove cabinets hide the washing machine and dryer along with the cleaning equipment keeping everything neat and tidy.
