A new build detached house with a contemporary Belgian inspired interior for which we were commissioned for the kitchen, laundry and boot room, media wall & study area for the snug, cloaks cabinet, master bedroom headboard & ensuite vanity unit.
Lisa Keates of Keates Interiors desribes the project as 'A contemporary family home with a Belgian influence, using restrained neutral tones and natural materials to create an understated and relaxed home'
The kitchen sits centrally in the semi-open plan ground floor living space with dining room and sitting area. Grey stained sand-blasted oak fronted cabinets with bronze inset handles blend seemlessly with the calm sophisticated aethetic that runs throughout the interior.
Kitchen worktops in a mid-grey porcelain complement the colour tone of the cabinetry and sit well with the more dramatic Travertine accents to the rear of the banquette setaing and open nische.
"Hetherington Newman are our first choice for cabinet makers. They are versatile and provide an excellent service combined with high quality workmanship. We use them because we can trust them to achieve the high level of product our clients expect. "

Simple flat oak panels with descreet handles were chosen for the boot room and cloaks cupboard and painted tounge and groove fronts were made for the laundry room.
The snug with a media wall in dark stained oak incorporating open display slots and a fire place and a study area with desk and opening shelving.
A neat upholstered headboard with stained oak surround wraps around the side tables of the bed in the master bedroom.
The double vanity unit for the master bedroom ensuite has cabinets with fumed, sand-blasted oak fronts with a bronze shadow gap below Travertine top incorporating the basins.
