Cotswolds Kitchen

A striking kitchen with a strong palette of warm earth tones created for a Cotswold holiday home with Hamilford Design who designed the whole interior scheme for the house.

Simple shaker style cabinetry was chosen for its classic timeless appeal, hand-painted in a rich dark green for the wall mounted units and in stained ‘crown cut’ oak for the island.

The tall and wall cabinets extend to the ceiling framing the bespoke bronze-effect extractor canopy on the rear wall. The bronze is picked up in the handles and the arched framed inset glass doors of the wall cupboards echoing the interior doorways of the space.

The oak island with a polished marble worktop, coordinates perfectly with the ‘rustic luxury’ style of the open plan dining and living space with its oak flooring and exposed stone wall around the fireplace.

Bar seating at one end with comfortable stools provides the option for casual dining or enjoying a drink with the cook.
